Official ballclub sites display seating charts for prospective ticket buyers - the problem is that these charts don’t always indicate obstructions or overhangs. Does anyone know of any unofficial sites that provide guides to help you avoid substandard seating (the team I’m interested in at the moment is the Reds).
Thanks.
The Seattle Mariners Web site seating chart allows you to click on the section you want to sit in, and it will show you a photograph of the view from that section.
The Reds seating chart has the same feature. It looks like there aren’t any significant obstructions in the new ballpark. The new ballparks are all pretty good that way. I also believe that, when the clubs sell tickets (when specific seats are not requested) they sell the obstructed seats last. So your odds of having a good, unobstructed view are pretty good.
