Does anyone have an opinion about what is the best bathrope / bathrope material? The one I have gets uncomfortable warm.
Do you mean bathrobe?

Also, are you male or female? Because there seems to be a larger selection of light weight robes/cover-ups in the women’s section of clothes than in the men’s.
Is a robe even necessary? Since I live alone I don’t really need one for modesty purposes, although in the winter my place gets chilly enough that I want one. Come summer, though, the less on the better.

Decades ago a woman gave me a silk bathrobe. It was fine in the summer. I didn’t really like it, (no absorbency) but for some reason it really turned her on. When we broke up, she kept it!? (I hope accidentally and then was too embarrassed to return it)

I own a bathrobe that I wear regularly, but never for its intended purpose. I don’t really see the point in one unless maybe you’re all lathered up in lotion after a bath. Eh. To each his own.

This being the Dope, I thought it was baa-tropes. But we really haven’t had any good sheep related events here in a while. At least not in the shower.
Supposebly Bathropes keep you warm like an eggcorn in the ground but for all intensive purposes they are just towels with sleeves.
I misread it as bathrapes, and now I’m equal parts relieved and disappointed.
I do have a shower rope. Can I wear it in the bath as well?

I have one from LL Bean that I love. It’s a sweatshirt material and has a hood. Sort of like what a boxer what would wear, but it’s longer. I went to their website to get a picture but it wasn’t on there anymore.
