No need to predict something if it’s simple chance. She could have been a low level agent programmed to think she is human who lucked into being made president. Hiding it isn’t too hard when you don’t know you’re a Cylon. First episode of season two: Adama taps her from behind and sees her spine glowing. Great TV, sure to win an Emmy.
In the original, the ruling council was a pain in the butt, constantly fighting with Adama over his decisions. They were also responsible for letting the Cylons win the war. This president at least understands the Cylons and isn’t afraid to throw them out an airlock.
Yeah, that was kinda lame, but we have to assume they take bomb scares as seriously as we do. Especially if a Cylon calls in the bomb threat. Didn’t Roslin at one point say, “how much time until this supposed bomb goes off?” I think they did have doubts, but couldn’t really do much about it. Who wants to be the one to call off a bomb threat and be wrong?
Absolutely right. Which is why I am convinced that because he accused Adama of being a Cylon, he absolutely is not. From the behavior shown on the show so far, I am convinced that neither Adama is a Cylon, nor is the President. Which isn’t to say that the Cylon’s aren’t influencing her. Maybe her aide is one, and he is somehow affecting her dreams? Similar to #6’s influence over Balthar, only more subtle.
As for the whole “who else is a Cylon?” question, I doubt we’ll see more than one more sleeper, simply because then the plot gets too dodgy. However, I wouldn’t count out ANYONE (other than the three I mentioned above) as being that sleeper.
Weeeeelll, let me make one more exception. Old whats-his-face, the terrorist played by Richard Hatch. He’s no Cylon, either.
