Lost started? I didn’t even know. Honest. It’s probably on the DVR though.
The Lost premiere was a one-hour yawn IMHO, even though I love the show, whereas BSG was 2 hours of tv excellence.
That’s true. This week will be the test, when both eps are one hour.
We’ll see if an hour of Jack yanking somebody’s chain is more stimulating than an hour of plotting to rescue the survivors of humanity from underneath a shiny chrome jackboot.

On further consideration, I have concluded that Jammer is not a Cylon. Oddly, I don’t think I even mentioned speculating about him , but I was. However, if he was a cylon, why would he join the goodlife NCP? It would only expose him to more scrutiny by humans once the names of the goodlife are common knowledge, and I’d think a cylon would prefer to avoid unnecessary scrutiny to keep from blowing their cover as long as possible…
Jack had some chains in his cell - I can’t remember if he was actually chained. He was yanking on them.
I assume it was another ‘clever’ poke at the fans. “See, we’re yanking your chains! Hahaha!”

I don’t know why it took me so long to see this reply. Probably because of the… um… that is… um… nope, I can’t blame it on anything. Anyway.
I remember Roslin and the doc in cahoots over this, now. This was the “Downloaded” episode, right? I may get a chance to watch that one again. (Oddly enough, the ONE episode in the whole series with naked women writhing handcuffed in tubs of snot, and I’ve only watched it once. I’m not sure what this says about me.)
But in the mean time, can someone remind me: was Adama in on it? Did he even know?

It may not count, but in one of the DVD deleted scenes from Lay Down Your Burdens, Tryol says that both were thrown out an airlock.

I can just see them going out the airlock, “Well, here’s another fine mess you’ve gotten us into!”
Jammer is not new! He was in the miniseries opening when Adama walked through the halls and the crew was bitching about the frakking window.
He was also the guy who Callie punched for building the cell they were going to put the Chief in.

No, I think Starbuck went back & got Helo, Boomer & Anders before that, didn’t they? It was Helo’s Boomer that the Pegasus’ interrogator was about to rape, right? So there would have been a resurrection ship around for the Brothers Cavil.
No, Helo and Boomer came back with Starbuck the first time from Caprica. Cavil didn’t show up until the 2 part season finale “Lay Down your Burdens” - when Tyrol freaked out and beat up Callie he asked for a priest and got Cavil. (Tyrol: “How do you know I’m not a Cylon?” Cavil: “Because I’m a Cylon and I haven’t seen you at any of the meetings.”) The Resurrection ship was long gone by then, and Pegasus had lost so many Commanders they had to resort to Lee. Then in part 2 of the finale, Starbuck came back with the Caprica resistance, and brought another Cavil with them.
I think so. However, Jack is Jack from “Lost”, not Jack Bauer from the Jack Bauer Power Hour.
