All of this has had spoilers before, and all of this will have spoilers again.
Spoiler policy:
If it’s aired, or if it’s purely speculation, no need for a spoiler box. If it’s from a future episode as revealed by interviews, web content, or kamala-induced clairvoyance, then hide it in a spoiler box, and provide a generally descriptive label so we can decide for ourselves whether or not it’s something we want to know.
Okay, before I get to tonight’s show, I figured I should share something I stumbled across earlier today. It’s an up-to-the-minute Q&A with Ron Moore, hosted by Yahoo TV’s page. The formatting is wonky in the extreme (there are no paragraph breaks separating the Q’s from Ron’s A’s), which makes it difficult to read, but there’s some great stuff in there.

Some highlights:
Will we see Starbuck’s “daughter” Casey again? - Unlikely; no plans at present. They had discussed some options, but elected not to pursue them.
Have we abandoned Roslin’s role as mystical prophet? - No, that will be coming back during the current season.
What about the probe? Will we get more clues about the search for Earth? - Yes, that will also be a featured storyline this season.
Is Sharon’s baby Hera going to play a recurring role in the story, or is she done? - Yes, she’ll be important, but apparently they’re going to let it stay largely dormant until they get closer to the end of the series.
Have we seen the last of Anders? - No, he’ll be coming back this season, and it’ll be his own story, not directly connected to Starbuck. Ron says “it’s sort of hard to describe.”
Lots of good stuff in there, and nothing too hugely earth-shaking (no revelations about characters not surviving, or anything like that). Still, if you want to discuss items from that article, please spoiler-box them with a label “from the RDM Q&A” or whatever.
There is one significant non-plot item: The show is getting a schedule change in the spring: it’ll move to Sunday nights.
Okay. Tonight.
Script is by Sooper Storytelling Genius Jane Espenson. It’ll focus on Kat, who I think it’s fair to say is not really anybody’s favorite character, but this show has a way of redeeming its people whenever it takes the time to get a really clear look at them. Tigh, of course, is the poster child for that, and even Anders got dramatically more interesting in his last couple of appearances.
The preview looks absolutely jam-packed and is borderline incomprehensible as a result. After last week’s virtually-no-story all-character installment, it seems we’re doing a whiplash-worthy reversal into a plot-heavy episode, with outer-space-action aplenty. Presuming they don’t fall on their ass with another “Black Market,” this may be exactly the tonic the non-fans of last week are hoping for.
Tonight at 9pm on Sci-Fi. Be there!
