Big Bang Theory Scoop: Nickelodeon Star Cast as Howard’s Younger Brother
Oh, great. Cousin Oliver is coming to stay.
Crappy, crappy episode.
Remember Seinfeld in it’s prime? One thing they did from time to time was to have each of the Fab Four have their own storyline in an episode, but by the end they all get tied into one another. Great stuff.
So TBBT now does 4 storylines. But no tie in. Really, really bad writing.
In particular, Howard and Bernadette have been by themselves for 2 episodes except for phone calls.
The Penny and Leonard part was just plain … nothing. Airtime for two leads. And that’s it.
And the bit with Raj and the nightstand is so overdone. Puleeze! Stop recycling old bits, okay?
Basically 4 different filler bits thrown together.
And the pie throwing. What sort of respectable sitcom writer in 2015 puts something like that in?
(I think this is something like the 2nd or 3rd time we see the “front” wall of Sheldon and Leonard’s apartment.)
The pie throwing was the best part of that episode. It’s never too late for pie.
You always know a series is in trouble when they start introducing new characters to try and liven things up.

Looks like there is about 20 lbs of bacon in Mrs Wolowitz’s freezer

I know eh. It bothered me that Amy was so upset about it. I’d be like “That’s nice, honey” and move on. It was another example of a character getting all butthurt about something relatively minor.
PS: It was a land turtle they were looking at getting. Similar to a tortoise but stays small. It WOULD be a huge investment because with proper care they can live for many years.
Josh? Should have named the kid Oliver.
