Be gentle, it's my first time...

Montfort -
Hey you hoser, howya doin’, eh?

Poysyn,

Oh, it’s going pretty good, eh. Beauty day down here in the lower 48.

Do me a favour and eat a Tim’s for me, eh?

GAWD - I have not heard anyone use “Beauty” like that for so long! (loud guffaw, people wonder what the heck is up with the temp)

Hey, cool, I can make her laugh!

Anyway, my knowledge of hoser ways are greatly influenced by the great Bob and Doug McKenzie, stuck-in-the-80s Canadian friends of mine, Rush, and hockey.

So, feel free to educate me in the modern ways of flirting with gorgeous Canadian women. I’m all yours.

Thanks to the SDMB, I know what a “bunnyhug” is now. And though it sounds like something we’d like to do with Poysyn under some heavy blankets on a cold Manitoba night, it’s actually a term for a hooded sweatshirt. (Though not all Canadians use it. It’s not as popular as toque.)

Oohh brrr cold Manitoba nights, best spent indoors. Makes me appreciate the August +29 we are having now, because only too soon, the ice, snow, windchill (I know hockey starts, that’s some comfort).

Isn’t cold Manitoba nights the reason snuggling by the fireplace was invented?

No… thats still too tall. Pushes Poysyn down

Well I tell you what. You are by far the best looking woman I have seen. If it get to cold and lonely up the you are more then welcome to come to Arizona. Im sure I…oh…I mean the state can warm ya up!

DarkHeart - Well, Phoenix does have my Jets/Coyotes…

I’ll send you a plane ticket, just say when!

But, Poysyn, I know you’ll get a little homesick in the winter and miss just a bit of the snow, ice, and windchill. They sure don’t get that in Arizona.

One of the things I love about living in the DC area is not only the convenient locations of the hockey and baseball teams, but the fact that we have four different distinct and appreciable seasons. It’s a very nice thing to have, after growing up in Florida.

So, top that, Zonaboy.

What about the football and soccer teams? You get two for the price of one with football, and we have a once-great soccer team . . . and two crappy basketball teams.

If Poysyn had mentioned that she liked football, basketball, or soccer, I would’ve mentioned them. You think I want to lose her to Arizona?!?

Let’s stick with the all-white-in-the-playoffs wearing Caps, and the most beautiful ballpark in the world, eh? No need to mention Milstein’s Folly or anything else.

Have you ever seen the Cherry Blossoms in bloom in the springtime, Poysyn? Truly lovely, I must say.

Well as far as snow, A quick 45 min drive and we will be in flaggstaff. Pine tree’s snow cleen air…As far as sports,…well lets just say Bank One ball park is cool, coyotes need I say more on that, football…nevermind…basketball…nevermind

But that is not all thats important. At night we can see the stars. It’s really cool to head out into the middle of the desert and light up a fire, kick back and look at the stars. There is also going tubing down the river…ahhh

When ever you ready for that ticket…

Y’all are hilarious, I can’t believe this thread has gone on two pages. My HUGE head will now require the use of my sunroof in both summer and winter.

Well, I doubt you can safely use your sunroof in the winter up there in Manitoba, so I’d like to offer the use of mine, in my loveable and irascible VW Golf. Sometimes in the winter we get nice respites where the temperature imitates late spring and we can use the sunroofs and wear lighter coats on our way to the Phone Booth for a Caps game.

And, don’t be surprised that this thread is two pages. You can easily turn this into a Ask the Stunningly Gorgeous Hoser thread and I’ll have a list of questions a mile long for you.

Well, speaking of huge heads…

Nah, I can’t go there.

(plus, i read in the boogyman thread, that you have a {gasp} boyfriend. Crushing to say the least.)

Ok, I give. I know when im beat. At least I have a picture to remember you by.
:frowning:

Hey, anything you want to ask, I’ll try to answer…
