Not really. Every mythical hero from here to Timbuktu was born of a virgin. Really. Oh, and that word doesn’t mean “virgin” in Hebrew.
In any case, jenkinsfan, none of what you say (and merely quoting Bible verses in lieu of actual discussion does little to help) disguises the fact that Jesus absolutely did not do any of the things predicted of the Messiah by the Jews. There are certainly plenty of knowledgeable, scholarly Jews here on the MB, among them cmkeller and CKDextHavn. They have more than a passing familiarity with what is expected of the Messiah. Ask them.
