Beck, glad you are getting out, and getting better food. The hospital you have been in must be behind the times. I’ve been in both of the local general admittance hospitals, and for mass produced food they have pretty good chow. Also you get to choose it off of a menu and set the time for it’s arrival during the general meal hours.
Also, good luck in putting the “tampon” on the cat. Do you have protective gear?
I was at Good Friday services this evening. The most solemn service of the church year, as I know I couldn’t have done what He did. When I was a kid I thought Christmas was the most important service, but as I grew I came to realize it’s the Easter cycle.

Speaking as a dog and proud representative of the canine genus (Canis) I believe the correct way is to hold the cat by the tail and dip it into a vat of hair oil. Then remove the excess oil using the method illustrated below.
