Bedtime = want2stay up ; Waketime = want2stay asleep

How come when it’s time to go to sleep all I want to do is stay up posting stupid messages and checking my email, but when it’s time to wake up I’d sell my soul to stay asleep.

Isn’t sleep the most blissfull thing? Is anyone any good at lucid dreaming. I’m trying to learn how to do it regularly.

Ya know… the more you run over a cat, the flatter it gets.

Is this a constant pattern?

Beginning when?

I first noticed when I was 5 years old. Waking up has ALWAYS been a torturous experience for me. I thought it was like that with everyone.

See ‘circadean rhythm’ - some of us are programmed to sleep at ‘odd’ times.

For those with real circadian rhythm displacements, sleep patterns are almost always constant from puberty to 60’s (and are often constant throughout life).

I use pills - bunches.

Most Dr.s will just tell you to ‘deal with it’ - do your own research, then go looking for a Dr. ‘Sleep disorders’ have been sexy (grant money) lately, and there are SOME good Dr.s, and a bunch of “me too’s”

my ‘normal’ hours are to sleep from 02:00 - 10:00 - not a good fit for 09:00 - 17:00 corporate work.

good luck
