Just realized the double listing of Michelob. Number 5 was suppose to be Miller High Life. Also, a couple of folks asked why Pabst was in the Best Sellers category and Killians was in the Bargain Basement Category. PBR is the 11th best selling beer overall in the US and #8 for domestic brews. It earned it’s way into the best sellers list. The only way Killian’s was going to make the show was in the BB category, I skipped over a number of other beers that I had never heard of to find one last beer for the category, it rating in sales in the US is in the 90’s.

The opening round is over, thanks to those that participated. Due to my screw up of listing Michelob twice and omitting Miller High Life, Michelob won twice. Instead of having Michelob twice in the next round, I am going to have the losing beer that received the most votes advance. In case of a tie, I exercised by right to vote and chose the one I would have voted for. The results are as follows:
