Let’s see… I remember Bryan Stow. His “crime” was rooting for the Giants in LA territory. He was “sentenced” to a beating that left him disfigured and suffered permanent brain damage. He’s an EMT with a wife and kids.

Differences- Bryan is alive (sort of) and his attackers were caught. Warmbler’s attackers were not caught and he’s dead.
Similarities - NO TAXPAYERS are paying any of this money. And both families are absolutely emotionally destroyed.
So perhaps you going to a Xavier Musketeers game wearing Bearkitties fan gear and acting inappropriately (say, giving the finger) get beaten to death or disfigured and brain damaged would serve you right.
