I love ice cream, but Ben and Jerry just put too damn much crap into it: “Vanilla, chocolate and coffee ice cream with nuts, gummy bears, chocolate chips, lima beans, thumbtacks, and swirls of fudge, strawberry and chicken gravy!” Give me a one-flavor ice cream, maybe with one swirl or some kinda chips. Not both. Ruins the “bouquet.”

Speaking of trendy new flavors, has anyone seen SpongeBob SquarePants ice cream? I don’t know what’s in it, but I cannot see eating an ice cream with the words “sponge” and “pants” in its name.

First: Mmmm Thumbtack Ice cream.
Second: We’ve tried it but I have a 6 year old SpongeBob Fanatic in the house. He liked it, I couldn’t bring myself to eat it for some reason, probably the one you mentioned.

The Phil ‘Scooter’ Rizutto Tribute Ice Cream, I did love that. It was one of my favorites. I probably should not be reading or posting in this thread. I am on a strict diet to lower my LDL and Ice Cream is the number 1 thing I am suppose to avoid.

As I recall, it was vanilla with a caramel ribbon and bits of chocolate, or maybe it was with bits of Heath Bar (which would account for both the caramel and chocolate flavors).

If they’re going to have a Vermonty Python flavor with little chocolate cows, shouldn’t they also have chocolate rabbits with big, pointy teeth and oh, I dunno, maybe some…COCONUT?

That said, I like the VP ice cream and hope it’s still on sale when I get paid again this weekend.
