I keep hoping for this outcome but am continually disappointed.
I came to this thread because I truly believe objects within these two areas are being teleported, not to question current science. I did state why I thought they were being teleported, and some disagreed, which is perfectly understandable since we all have been brainwashed into believing the current scientific theories. I don’t believe it being too improbable to think that current science has everything right and truly understands everything - if they did they would be creating new universes. And also teleport object plus qbits.
Bermuda Triangle – that’s supposedly with apexes at Bermuda (duh) the Florida Straits and somewhere I can see from my office roof (if I stand on a very tall ladder), right? I mean, it is an early-1970s cultural phenom, one stores only so much trivia.
It amuses me that it’s supposed to be this twilight zone so full of mysterious and unexplainable incidents, considering the volume of air and maritime traffic that flows through that space routinely. Like, every sea route between Europe and the Gulf of Mexico, Cuba/Hispaniola and points further, every airline route between Eastern North America and the Greater Antilles and points further. US space launches from KSC. A stupendous amount of fishery and recreational sorties and military maneouvers and drug/illegal immigrant smuggling. So once in a while as happens in every sea, some unlucky soul(s) engaged in any of these activities gets lost/blows up from a catastrophic malfunction/capsizes and goes down without a chance to send a mayday and the sea takes him/them into her bosom until Judgement Day like she has for unlucky souls for millennia… and it means there is something mysterously strange about that region? One pilot reports, with no external verification, that he made a trip in too little time vs. what it should have been, and it means strange physics and not that he screwed up his navigational calculations (or had forgotten to wind his watch)?
Moderator Note
snakeoil, this thread is on the specific case of Bruce Gernon. If you want to postulate teleportation or other phenomena not supported by current science, start a new thread in our Great Debates forum. Since this thread is old, I’m closing it.
