Remember the Flinstones boat name? A combination of the first three Letters of Nautical Lady and the last three letters of Queen of the Sea.

FWIW, neither of my boats are named.

I once saw a boat in a local harbor that as owned by a doctor. The boats name was the Blood Vessel.

If you expand your reference frame a bit in airplanes, I have a friend of a friend story about a rear engined Cessna named Pushy Galore.

Oh, and back in the days when I was an aspiring hot air balloon pilot, I wanted one that was solid hot pink, so I could name it Floyd .

My aunt has a boat (unimpressively named June Bug ) and has invited me on it a couple of times. In the marina, there are two boats next to each other called Last Mate and Second Choice Too. Consecutive!

One friend’s musically inclined family named theirs Key of Sea.

On a visit to Sag Harbor one summer, my husband and I noticed (for how could you not?) this bigass yacht moored there. I can’t remember its name, but the two little motorboats on it were called the Mistress and the Wife. :dubious:

If I ever own a boat I’ll call her "The Naughty Lass"

It’s not clever or anything, but we used to have a boat called Captain Moose, named after the two dogs we owned at the time (Captain and Moose, natch). We’d pass other boats and invariably someone would yell out “MOOOOOOSE!!!”

The smallest wooden boat with a cabin I’ve ever seen was called Toy-Yacht-A.

A friends’ parents many years ago had a boat name Mama’s Mink. If I ever had a boat (not likely) I’d like to name it Left Blank.
