Hello all. I just got a new DVD player (my GF won it from her employer in a contest), and I do not have near the money necessary to buy a 5.1 setup and a reciever. The thing is hooked up to my massive 19" TV right now. The TV has only Mono sound input, and plays through the little speaker. My stereo is next to the TV, but it doesn’t have auxilliary inputs. So, I’m looking for the best pair of stereo speakers that I can buy (powered) that will do a decent job for home DVD viewing. I don’t need to rattle the windows or anything. The input would preferrably be RCA plug, but I can buy adapters at RadioShack or something if it’s different. I’m looking to spend about $35 or less. I know I won’t get anything earth shattering, but I’d like something that has decent tonal range and a little bit of bass output (no subwoofer is required, but wouldn’t be bad). Thanks!
