There actually is such a thing. On an episode of Penn and Teller’s Showtime show <i>Bullshit</i>, they showed an old stage magician style his comb over. He had no hair on top at all, just the standard horseshoe-wraparound hair - but it was about a foot long. Of course it was died Jerry Lewis black. Anyhow in a time-lapse footage piece he styles and sprays this foot of hair into a believable pompadour. It was amazing.

We were talking about comb-overs at work last night and I suggested that pubic hair might make a good plug, if they would “take” :D. Anyone know if that’s been tried yet?

I bet it was like an old CEO’s. Apparently when they first put them in it’s as a big plug about as thick as a Q-Tip and then, once they “take” they spread 'em out. But yeah, that clumpage is worthy of a long, jaw-dropping stare. It’s like a shrubbary orchard.
For comb overs I like this guy at the 17 (and 37) second mark.
