Ouch. The one for Tabula Rasa is dead on target, even though I really like the game.
I haven’t played any of the games he reviewed, so the only one I’ve watched is his Wii vs. XBOX vs. PS3 video, which was quite amusing. The “blu-Ray” joke in particular was pretty clever.

It’s kind of strange that he’s never played a Halo game before this one. How do you review video games for a living, and happen to miss the ones that basically defined an entire major game hardware system?
I wouldn’t call this review “dead on accurate” by any means, but it sure is funny as hell. Some parts of it are right on, though, like the “pants-on-head stupid” marines driving the warthog into the wall and sticking their fingers in their nose while they get blown up by a tank.
The Tomb Raider Anniversary review is great too, maybe better.
Yeah I like this guy’s reviews a lot. Although he’s certainly negative, his bitches are fairly accurate, and overall (as in the case of Bioshock) he does say it’s a good game.

It’s been a long time now so I forget the game it was for or who wrote it but one reviewer noted how awful the manual was for a particular game. He opined that if he fed his dog a box of Scrabble chips it would likely shit a better manual.
To this day I keep waiting to use that line.
