Best Haiku ever? You decide...

Buy teriyaki
Or heat up some beef ramen?
Mealtime dilemna.

::chuckles::

Reminds me of a mathematical limerick that I saw, an equation in symbolic form that could be read as:

Integral t-squared dt
From one to the cube root of three
Times the cosine
Of three PI upon nine
Equals log of the cube root of e

…which can easily be shown to be true.

Nature’s Call has shown
Splendid versification:
Poetry brings peace.

Cool! In that vein…

A being supreme must consist
of necessary things that persist.
If He’s possibly there,
we are forced to declare
that He actually has to exist.

Three more minutes left
Say, Can I finish in time?
Guess so, good bye y’all!

Brilliant.
This should be the last
Post in this thread for I am,
McNew, thread killer.
Alternatively,
If you prefer a five-line ditty,
I’ll try to make syllables fitty
In this cleverest of threads,
McNew here, now it’s dead-
I know that my poetry’s sh*tty!

McNew, this zombie
Defeats all us thread killers
Post sixty-seven

Pipe-smoking tiger
Inhales sweet vanilla smoke.
Purr…puff…purr…puff…purr.

Here’s one about my husband right now.

Couch potato guy
He’s even eating baked Lay’s
You are what you eat.

:dubious

Well done!

Here’s one that’s not 5-7-5:

Morning fog,
a stone toad
weeps in the ivy.

Orel Hershiser
I must kill him, I know it
maybe with an ax
Can you guess what World Series was being played when I wrote this?

Nature’s Call, I see
You had the first “dead thread” post
And yet, it lived on.
