“Today is a good day to die”
No love for The Last Starfighter?
“She won’t answer the helm! We’re locked into the moon’s gravitational pull. What do we do?”
(eyepiece swings into place)
“We die.”
Bruce Willis in Armageddon.
Willem Dafoe, in the first Spider-Man movie.
“Oh.”
“Mother Pus Bucket!”
”I just did.” Badass line delivery by Hackman to DeVito, and frankly I loved the shootout for how raw it was, with people shooting and missing at close range, terrified that they were going to get shot themselves.
In the same vein:
”Than you, sir, may I have another?” — House of Games
Kind of a ridiculous scene with subs flying around like fighter jets but at least the story felt more authentic than the absurd Crimson Tide; even the combined talents of Gene Hackman, Denzel Washington, and Viggo Mortensen couldn’t make that story seem plausible.
Stranger
And, honestly: what the hell else was going to happen when it’s The Penguin taking on Lex Luthor?

Originally in Jurassic Park,
It was said by Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character in Total Recall, released three years before Jurassic Park.
“Top of the world, ma!”
White Heat (1949)
“Should’ve picked scissors….”
Shaolin Daredevils (1979) – Three heroes are trapped in an underground lair with tons of bad guys bent on killing them about to break in. Two can get away only if one stays behind to face the bad guys and meet certain death. The heroes play rock, paper, scissors to determine who stays behind. The loser says goodbye to his friends, turns to face the bad guys and says the line. The end. One of the greatest last lines of any movie ever, imo.
Slim Pickens has two.
Sitting and looking out at the outdoors while Knocking on Heaven’s Door plays.
Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid.
Going out like the cowboy he is riding a nuclear bomb.
Dr. Strangelove.
“Superman”
The Iron Giant
Disclaimer
Who technically didn’t die but fully intended to and expected to and, whatever, fight me

"I heard say the executioner was very good, and I have a little neck. "
Anne Boleyn, before her execution on The Tudors. The real Anne reportedly actually said this. Gives me chills
Another one that veers slightly from the OP: " I know. In Hell"
The title character is apprehended for murder. The cop says “you’re gonna burn for this” and Johnny Angel replies with the above quote. And then he does.
I forgot to say the movie is Angel Heart
No quarrel with me. I’m not crying, you’re crying!

Shoot straight, you bastards! Don’t make a mess of it!
That was a real line, actually.

The Last Starfighter, with FX that don’t look dated at all.
Actually watched this with my kids last weekend, and despite the forty year old CGI, it still holds up as a movie quite well- it kept 10 and 13 year old boys interested and entertained throughout.
Which isn’t something I could say about too many 40 year old movies when I was 13.
Pike: “Let’s go.”
Lyle: “Why not?”
The Wild Bunch (1969)
“For the rebellion”
For sheer guts (shared with a crew member if I recall correctly) for a final sacrifice made on nothing but persuasion from another character.
“Hands off!”
Idris Elba as the ship captain of Prometheus, as it accelerates into the Engineer death ship to destroy it. The line emphasizes that no further choices are possible. Followed by at least three nice ironies.
“And, I. Am. Iron Man.”
Do I even need to put the movie title here?
Breaker Morant
