Best Mock-Profundity

I like quotes that have an air of profundity but actually do not contain any. Such lines may even be meant to mock the concept of profundity. Does anyone have any good ones to share?

Proof of God: Notice that our ears are perfectly designed and positioned to support eyeglasses.

A social conscience is like a garden shed. You try and eat it, it will stick in your throat.

No matter where you go; there you are.

…and…

Things are more like they are now than they ever were before.

Benjamin Franklin: Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.

Although I don’t know how “mock” profound that is. I kinda agree with him.

'Tis an ill wind that blows no minds.~ Malacalypse the Younger- from The Illuminatus Trilogy, but maybe quoting the Principia Discordia.

“A noble spirit embiggens the smallest man.” (This is from The Simpsons)

Said of Tom Dewy’s standard stump speech…

You can’t have freedom without liberty.
Our rivers are full of fish.
The future lies ahead!

This sort is really irritating

“At Glomcorp, the Future begins Today!”

Well, yes, the future tends to do that; with or without Glomcorp’s assistance.

Sarah Palin-“Only dead fish go with the flow.”

I thought for a moment this thread was for mock profanity, frizzlerfrazzle dagnabbit!

Two movies that say it all about saying nothing.

Do you mean something like Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey?

“No! Dead things go downstream, Mother. Life is upstream!” Allie Fox (Harrison Ford) in The Mosquito Coast

Quidquid latine dictum, altum videtur.

Yes, that’s exactly the sort of thing I was talking about.

How about this one:

I believe it’s “dictum sit”, but otherwise, full marks.

I believe that children are our future.

I came in to post this one. I love Buckaroo Bonzai; that movie also uses:

One I sometimes use when I am trying to convey a waste of time:

“You know, of all the meetings I’ve been to, that was definitely one of them.”
