Best of the Beatle

Paul - Maybe I’m Amazed
George - The Ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp (Let it Roll)
Ringo - It Don’t Come Easy
John - How

I know it’s in the ear of the beholder, but…

Sweet Crappin’ Christ on a Krispy Kreme!!

Sorry. Carry on.
mmm

A full 50% of those are Beatles tunes.

shrug I dunno. I just LOVE that song. Still sounds fresh and fun to me to this day.

Oops, I failed reading comprehension.

Actually, it appears I’m not the only one who likes it. Looks like some DJ in Europe a couple years ago loved it enough to make it popular in dance clubs, and it’s wormed its way back into Sir Paul’s setlist.

Lennon - Instant Karma
McCartney - Live And Let Die
Harrison - My Sweet Lord
Starkey - Back Off Boogaloo (and by far my favorite of the bunch)

OK, sorry to jump on you. It’s just that that selection stood out (to me) like a turd in the punch bowl.
mmm

I had never heard that before, and wish I could still make that claim.

I can’t help but laugh at the look on his face here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdCH7ZewAf

Oh, no, I expected some raised eyebrows, hence the paranthetical in my original reply. I remember hearing it the first time and wondering what in the fuck I was listening to and then, like a fungus, it grew on me.

I wish you has not flagged that song up, I would not have gone looking for it.

I want to delete the internet now

Paul: Beautiful Night (the Flaming Pie version)
John: Imagine
Ringo: Photograph
George: What is Life (if we can count Wilbury songs, Handle With Care)

Here’s a nice cover of it with cleaner production and a much updated sound. Seriously, it’s a decent, if not totally campy and ridiculous song! “She can be a neurosurgeon if she’s doing nothing urgent”!

I called my favorite Beatle, Herbie.

Ringo’s best song is You’re Sixteen You’re Beautiful and You’re Mine. It refers to a high school boy and his gf

Paul’s is Band on a Run

Harrison - Guitar Weeps

Paul - Love in Song
John - Jealous Guy
George - Isn’t It a Pity? [Version Two]
Ringo - Six O’Clock
