I know the best way to find a job is through networking, but I’ve been in a “part-time professional work-at-home” type job for several years and my networking skills are rusty. My company will be closing soon and I’m starting to poke around on-line sites to get an idea of what’s out there.
I have an MBA in Finance and last time I looked for a job, part-time work was scarce. But I keep hearing that companies are being more flexible, hiring consultants/contractors, etc (I have medical through my spouse so don’t really need benefits) so they don’t have to hire full-time permanent employees.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
