What do you think the best movies this will be this summer?
it doesn’t seem to me like there are that many to choose from…

I agree totally chief, nothing looks like a runaway #1 so far. I thought Shaft might do it, but it only lasted 1 week at #1. And where is our yearly Will Smith blockbuster? It should be at least getting ad saturation by now.

will smith is probably taking some time off after the disasterous Wild Wild West. it was one of the worst movies ever! (i only saw it since i got into a free preview screening)

I’ve heard that the Rocky and Bullwinkle movie is expected to be HUGE! I know I’ll go see it. I loved the Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle when I was little.

Just saw the preview for it, and I think it is going to bomb.

I hope X-Men doesn’t dissapoint, it looks like it’ll be fun.

Chicken Run! Go see it. It won’t win, but deserves to.

Will Smith is working on some movie about a golfer that’s supposed to be out in the fall, IIRC.

R&B looks BAAAAAD!

Rocky and Bullwinkle will tarnish the reputations of all involved for years to come.

X-Men looks fantastic.

Shaft was truly horrible. Me, myself & Irene, while gross and childish, was terribly funny and will be a big hit.

The Patriot looks real good. I’m planning to see it tomorrow when it comes out. The Perfect Storm also looks good. I’ll probably go sometime this weekend to see it.

It doesn’t seem as if anything is going to be a mega-blockbuster type movie this year. The Perfect Storm looks good. The Patriot looks exactly like Bravehear set during the American Revolution. How about Nutty Professor II: The Klumps? It may be big when it opens later in the summer.

The Will Smith movie is called Bagger Vance. It based on the novel The Legend of Bagger Vance : A Novel of Golf and the Game of Life by Steven Pressfield. It was filmed last fall, mostly in Charleston. According to my inside sources it is going to be really good.

I personally don’t think that there are going to be any good movies out this summer. Depressing isn’t it?
