Just wanted to comment, as a San Diego resident and follower of the team on the Chargers power-blue throw back uniforms and why they are not used more often.
I admittedly don’t know the full story on why and when the team stopped using them, but I understand that style was used when the team started playing in the AFL, pre-merger with NFL.
The current ownership of the team has repeatedly rejected without explanation the idea of bringing back the power-blues for any more use than once per season.
Of course after last week’s total fiasco against the Jets (man. that was awful ‘:(’) while wearing the powder-blues I wouldn’t blame 'em for not bringing that uniform for a long time.

Hey now. I went to a Catholic all girls’ school last year, and let me tell you, no one looks good in those outfits. Have you ever seen a real Catholic schoolgirl? They don’t shave their legs, they don’t comb their hair, they don’t even bother to their iron their uniform. And they all wear boxers under those plaid skirts, which are usually so short you can see the boxers… :eek:
And soccer slides. Those are the ugliest shoes ever. And everyone wore them! It was like they were trying to look bad.
So…remember this, guys: real Catholic schoolgirls aren’t sexy. They just look like white trash. (Most Catholic school girls seem to be white, in my experience.)

There’s no such thing as “Catholic” school uniform in my country, but school uniform is commonplace and is a popular sexual fetish. Some nightclubs even have a regular school uniform nights and you have to wear uniform to get into this place every night. I’ll leave it up to you to decide whether it looks sexy or not.
FWIW, I went to a coeducational Catholic school and many of the girls were very sexy :D. And they didn’t wear boxers.
A team changes its uniforms for one reason and one reason only—$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Every team, be it pro or college, in every sport, that has changed its unis has experienced a marker rise in merchandise sales, which translates to more money for the team/owner.
That being said, I like the Redskins 70th anniversary home unis.
And I like the Rams unis, especially the metallic gold.
