I’m a little worried about that. I’d rather Saul keep finding its own footing rather than spend much time delving into the Breaking Bad backstory, a story which already feels complete. I’m dread it turning into fanservice where we see all the characters we know in BB.
Hopefully it’s limited and Gus only matters in as far as it relates to Saul and Mike’s relationship.
It seems like it’s going to have to touch on the BB story somewhat. They’ve been foreshadowing Saul’s post BB future and if the show is to stand on it’s own then that has to be explained.
