The question was about rights for same-sex couples. Biden said very clearly that he supported equal rights for same-sex couples, no question.
Palin’s response was along the lines of, “well, kind of, but not if I feel like it starts to encroach upon the sanctity of ‘marriage.’ But, some of my best friends are diverse, and I’m tolerant.”
Regardless of the fact that Biden might not support same-sex marriage, they clearly have dramatically different opinions on the issue.
