So who else caught Johnny Galeki’s Roseanne reference? “I like you, but I want to see how it goes with Mark?” Galeki played David Healy and Glenn Quinn played his brother Mark.
A good episode. The ending with Sheldon & Penny and the talking computer was hilarious.
I missed part of this (Ivylad found my old Caesar II computer game and I was busy building temples and fighting the barbarians). Did Leonard and Stephanie break up, or did they just slow down their relationship?
At the end, Leonard decided (with the help of his friends) to send Stephanie a text message saying he didn’t think they should live together. After sending it he said, “Now I’m never going to have sex again.”. He got a text response, read it, and said, “Apparently I was wrong” and ran out of the cafeteria. You can take this as, Stephanie isn’t mad and she still wants to have sex, or that she is trying to change his mind by having sex with him. We don’t know how it turned out.
We did not find out what Stephanie’s response was to Leonard’s text message. But the way Leonard left in a hurry I kinda thought it was for another hook up. So then Stephanie took it well.
I still find Penny’s and Leonard’s break up strange as they never resolved their feelings. Penny dumps the infatuated Leonard because she is feeling unworthy regarding her education and now they are just friends without any hangups, jelousy or insecurity? Penny seems actually happy for Leonard with a new relationship which could become permanent (I know its tv and it will break up so Penny and Leonard can re-establish their romance).
Sheldon was in full “hypochondriac” mode. He even asked Leonard if Stephanie would give him a prostate exam. Leonard refused to ask her.
Later, Stephanie cleverly got Sheldon to shut up by telling him his larynx was in terrible shape, and he would only make it worse by talking.
Finally, we saw Sheldon knocking on Penny’s door and using a voice synthesizer on his laptop to say “Penny.” knock knock knock “Penny.” knock knock knock “Penny.”
Umm no fair. I was actually at home last night when Big Bang was supposed to be on, flipped to CBS, and some local charity thing was on. Looked low-budget and I checked TV Guide channel and Big Bang was nowhere to be seen.
I’m sure that charity or whatever is nice and all…but CBS sucks ass and is way behind all the other networks in offering all their shows online, so I guess I don’t get to see this episode. Boo.
That wasn’t CBS’s fault. It was your local affiliate, who decided to pre-empt *Big Bang *and air the charity event. Call channel 6 or whoever and complain to the programming department.
Maybe it’s just me, but I was getting the feeling that Penny was trying to break Leonard and Steffanie up. At least that has a really good chance of happening if he follows her advice.
Btw, I thought it was a quirk with one of those sites, but Mon night I watched it on TV & I noticed something I’ve seen on the Netcasts- the voices are a split-second out of synch with the mouth movements. Has anyone else noticed this?
Yeah, I get that too and I have Time Warner Cable. I’m wondering if it’s just a general problem with digital cable, maybe due to bandwidth or maintenance issues.
