2. Anyone know who the woman was next to Woz? She looked like one of Bad Astronomer’s skeptic friends, but all I could find Googling was a suggestion it was Woz’s daughter.

I was wondering that too. I kind of assumed it was his date, but I thought he was seeing Kathy Griffin in real life.

I contend that the Roadrunner’s cartoon nemesis is correctly known as the Coyote. A similarly drawn character was identified as Wile E. Coyote, but only in cartoons featuring other characters, e.g. Bugs Bunny. Apart from an instance of breaking the fourth wall, the Coyote was mute, and he was referred to on-screen as “Coyote”, or by an amusing series on faux-Latin sobriquets.

Uh, what about that one cartoon where he stops the action to address the kid watching his cartoon on TV to explain why roadrunners are so lip-smackingly good? In the same voice and syntax, BTW, as he’d use in the Bugs Bunny cartoons?

Coyote got to occasionally play opposite the sheepdog and had a character name like Sam or Fred or George, I forget. The Road Runner toons were a tribute to silent films and miming.

Actually the coyote has a brown nose and Sam Wolf has a red nose

I took some more screenshots and added them to the same folder. I added some outside Sheldon’s office and a shot of Woz. I still haven’t figured out what the thing above the light switch in Sheldon’s room is.

That USB-HDTV adapter I bought is really handy. I can record the shows directly on my laptop in HD using Windows Media Center. I then copy them to my desktop computer and edit out the commercials in Windows Movie Maker and save it in DVD quality in my Big Bang Theory folder.

Only once that I recall. Sheldon mentioned he acquired self-defense skills fighting his sister and an older brother growing up. Leonard also has a brother and sister we haven’t seen.

Which one do you have? I’ve had a Hauppauge WinTV HVR 950 for a while now. It’s mostly adequate, but the software and/or the hardware is a little flakey sometimes.
