I am not sure if that is really true. I work at a university, and I see “nerdy”-type guys with attractive girlfriends on a fairly regular basis.
Here’s to hoping this won’t evolve into any kind of longer relationship – Sheldon’s appeal is his exceptionality, his total out-there-ness. He doesn’t work if he’s matched.
Oh, I agree! I cannot possibly imagine that the writers actually intend to have Sheldon in a long-term romantic relationship – that would not be a good idea at all!
I might just be trying too hard at this, but the only way I can read that line is with Sheldon’s voice. [Ned Ryerson]Am I right or am I right? Or am I right? Am I right? [/Ned Ryerson]
I think Sheldon will see Victoria once a year, as per the agreement. Sheldon understands agreements.
Yes, I can hear it now, with Sheldon’s voice. Funny!
Has Sheldon ever really shown any emotion other than self-centered emotion?
Seems like the only time I can think of is when he got sick and Penny took care of him.
I like the idea of him and Bialik for a few episodes but I hope it doesn’t focus too much on him
As I said, this episode was great, and it really shows that the other characters are great too, if given an opportunity to do so. Sheldon and Penny are the breakout characters, but if you give Leonard, Raj and Howard a chance, and (even Leslie Winkle’s brief appearence), and they can produce material that is just as good.
The cast really has no weak spots, which makes it a little disappointing when they focus on one character to the exclusion of any of the others. Hell, even the guest spots are stronger than most comedic series’ leads.
