What no thread already? Why do I have to be burdened with such sexiness and starting threads?
Anyways, I’m only about half way through the episode but damn Stuart is on fire and Sheldon is being a selfish dick. I like that Stuart is being more assertive, in his own way, and less “Wimpy Wimpy Wimpy!”
Arrived home at 8:15. Gonna watch tomorrow on demand. I am easily confused and thought the weekly showing was the rerun on Tuesday and was surprised there was a new episode today. Also surprised there was a rerun on Thanksgiving so that there was no Thanksgiving episode.
I’m kind of disappointed Christopher Lloyd’s character wasn’t named Jim, though. He’s certainly getting as close to revisiting the character as he could get without James L Brooks sending Chuck Lorre a firmly worded letter.
Not a great episode. However by using fast cuts between the two storylines they made more of it than was really there. This would be a better format for their poorer shows than just having the whole cast sit in the living room and fail to be funny. The Stuart-Raj rivalry worked pretty well. But now we have to sit through at least one birthing episode.
Its the first episode in a long time that didn’t have Bernadette being a total ass. My wife and I like the characters a lot less when they are being truly crappy to each other.
It makes it hard to understand why they would chose to hang out with each other if they are jerkish on the regular in our humble opinion.
Really enjoyed Stuart in this episode. He is a great character, especially when paired with Raj in that perverse-but-funny competition for “top nanny” to the Wolowitz brood!
Christopher Lloyd was great! I hope that he will remain for a few more episodes.
Though I enjoy seeing Lloyd in almost everything I don’t really want him hanging around. The show has enough characters, too many perhaps. It might have really been something if he actually was Jim Ignatowski, but it should be a one off, or perhaps a second brief cameo appearance down the line, though I expect that line isn’t very long since the adding a baby is generally a clear sign of the end.
Penny is looking extremely great now her hair is long again. Her expressions on being re-gifted the picture was wonderful.
I also liked that Sheldon could not order a flag because he was too well known in the Flag community — a man of reputation and renown !
I’m afraid you are right. I’d love it if they changed things around on everybody and started next episode three weeks after the birth, with no flashbacks.
