Big Bang Theory to End After This Season

I suppose Sweeting is probably out.

I don’t remember any of that

Raj hid a clue for his last challenge in the elevator shaft, where Leonard had to climb down to find it. That was what, 2 seasons ago?

Wouldn’t the bomb have blown up the whole building, or at least more than just the lift/elevator?

Penny is actually her last name, her first name is Money. :stuck_out_tongue:

The misbehaving rocket fuel? I doubt it. Not contained enough for a really big bang.

Beverly could do a Rosalyn Shays down the elevator shaft.

What does that mean? I don’t want to search it in case it’s rude.

Rosalind Shays was a very unpopular character on L.A. Law. She was written out of the show when the elevator door at the firm’s high-rise office opened and she walked through while engrossed in a conversation, and the elevator wasn’t there. One assumes the resulting lawsuit was truly epic.

The scene is here if you wish to view it.

Thanks, I remember her now. That red-haired actress, Diana Muldaur, wasn’t it? No, I like Beverley, I don’t want her to end like that.

Another ending I don’t want…Young Sheldon being woken up by his mother, rubbing his eyes and saying, “Mother, I just had the strangest dream.”

The only dream sequence that worked was the ending of Newhart.

The show will end with the elevator repairman finally showing up.

And saying “What happened to the elevator? It looks like a bomb went off in there.”

Leonard also played hero in the shaft, saving Penny from. . . I don’t remember. But that was a fantasy, so I don’t think it counts as proof the elevator doesn’t work.

Didn’t one of them go into the shaft looking for Toby the cricket?

You mean Jiminy!

But wouldn’t that actually be kind of perfect, since Bob Newhart shows up in Sheldon’s dreams as Professor Proton?

The last episode’s cold open should be Bob Newhart’s Prof Proton waking up next to his hated puppet and saying, "Wow, I just had the strangest dream. . …

The rest of the episode can concern itself with the elevator, never referencing the open.

Or Bob Hartley waking up next to Emily, talking about the strange dream he had after watching Roseanne

I loathe this attitude towards actors. “(Insert actor’s name) held out until they got (insert amount of money) which is so unfair!!! They only have to work a couple hours a week.”

Ok, but then why aren’t people like you bitching and whining about Steven Spielberg being paid $52,000,000 to “consult” on Universal Studio’s theme parks, or someone like former Simpsons exec/writer Sam Simon who was making $20,000,000 a year AFTER he had been fired from the show. He contributed nothing just sat on his ass and played poker and let the money roll in, but he gets off the hook, why precisely?
