I would like to see some new rules (or two variations of one rule): Contestants are not allowed to thank the HOH for not nominating them for eviction, and the HOH (or anybody else for that matter) is not allowed to say “it’s purely strategic” or any variation of the word “strategy” during or after the nomination ceremony.
These two things really annoy me!

As much as people trash Grodner and her stupid twists, I have to give her credit for the couples this season. I find it fascinating watching an alliance of one couple I love to pieces and one I despise beyond all reason. She had to know that’s exactly what would happen when she set this season up, so kudos on the interesting dynamic from a viewer’s perspective.
I really want Dom gone this week and (ideally) Lawon next week simply because it would be so cool if the REGULATORS!!! were the first four people evicted from the house. They were the anti-Brigade.
They’re really hammering home the big twist tomorrow night. Fingers crossed it’s Cassi coming back after some golden key shenanigans.
Much as I don’t like Dick, I’m really sorry he’s gone. He would have been the annoying one that was setting the strategy, and that would have really irritated Rachel. She’d have been crying every day.
R&B and J&J are too strong in this game. The newbies have zero organization and no clue how to pull it off. To them, strategy is heading to the HOH room and begging to be on the team.
I think Dom is taking the bus this week. It will be interesting to see if Danielle votes with the alliance or for Dom.
Yeah, the noobs are really outgunned here. It’s making the season less interesting. Dare I say that if it wasn’t for R&B’s psychopathies, it would be almost unwatchable.
Here’s hoping the twist is that Dick is back.
Yeah, and the deck’s been stacked against them from the beginning. With the returning duos, you have a pair of people who know absolutely that they can trust each other 100%. With the newbies, you’re just not going to get that kind of trust that fast in the game, especially with them having to go against their team member if they are nominated.
Giving so much of a head start to the returning players has really made the game pretty boring.
I’m not entirely sure that trust was there between Dick and Dani, but your point is valid. Even worse, Dani and R&B met last year at some BB or reality event and became casual friends; the vets had two stacked decks compared to the rookies’ one shuffled one. The only thing the rookies had going for them was numbers, which is no small thing. If Adam could have won the first HoH, the vets very well may have been toast before the game even started, with either Brendan or Jeff gone immediately.

Should be an interesting week. I’m leaning towards Porsche for the game win. I loved her jellyfish comment in the diary room.
I like Jordan, and J&J at least have the dignity to act like a normal couple instead of Total Dramarama Addicts Brenchel, but I’m rooting for the newbies. Brendon is such a complete douchenozzle, and Rachel is a screaming harpy. And Jeff…sigh I discovered during the first Big Brother All-Star season that you can’t go home again. Almost inevitably, people you LOVED in their original season are going to make you hate them by the end of the All-Star. This holds true for BB, Survivor and Amazing Race. I suspect it’s universal. I loved Jeff & Jordan in their season. I still like Jordan. But Jeff has been a dick a lot of the time this time around.
I hate entitled attitudes, I hate condescension, I hate high-and-mighty, and really, the vets have it all in spades this time. I’m cheering for Dani mostly because at least she’s trying to spearhead a little bit of rebellion against the Reign of Error.

She was trying to throw Dominic’s goodbye speech back in his face. “Yes, I AM a jellyfish. But I’m still in the house! See you at the reunion!”, basically. I kind of thought it was stupid because…well, she IS a jellyfish…she voted exactly the way the vets wanted her to.
Ah, I was only half paying attention to Dom’s speech so I must have missed that line. The voting this year has been really boring so far, I’m hoping it gets more exciting now that the couples are done.
So did everyone but Dani though. Dom made it hard not to vote for him.
