Stacking up such a weak group of players against the 3 teams of veterans was a terrible idea. It’s like the producers went out of their way create a Morlocks/Eloi feeder scenario.

It isn’t all editing. Porsche’s nonentity on the broadcast show is exactly equivalent to her nonentity in the house. Funny example: While analyzing the votes for Jordan, they (Jeff, Adam and Shelly) kept coming up one short on the total votes until Jeff finally remembered that Porsche was in the house. heh.
Lawon is in some ways a bigger nothing than Porsche, though at least he occasionally gets goofy loud for no particular reason.
Shelly has a bit of a personality, but to me it seems as fake and forced as her boob job.
Kalia is getting the sweetheart edit of all time, IMO, because she’s about as annoying a person as I’ve ever seen. Not looking forward to this week at all. Though kudos to her for stepping up in the challenges this past week. That could go a long way toward winning me over if she’d ever shut her mouth for even one second. The constant eating, talking, and talking while eating is beyond irritating.
Knew I forgot something. The broadcast-only viewers aren’t aware of this, but Brendan and Rachel put on this elaborate faux-wedding Wednesday night during BBAD. The whole house was involved. They made a tuxedo and wedding dress out of black and white trash bags respectively, and basically just went all out.
Not even a blip on the broadcast show. Ha! That will be the most hurtful legacy of this season for the gruesome twosome. That’s also what Brendan was talking about in his final speech when he said he was proud to be Rachel’s BB husband.

Regarding Porsche’s nonentity status, HT reminded me of another example from BBAD the other night:

Sometimes BB saves something like the faux wedding to use as filler if needed… it may get some airtime yet. Rachel really outdid herself last night on the hammock. “Everyone in this game is only playing for themselves!” Unspoken: “they should be playing for me!”
I saw a picture of the wedding stuff when I desperately tried to vote during the commercial to keep Brendan out. But I couldn’t be arsed to look at it.
Ellis, thanks for the updates on the edits. Porsche has to stop being a non-entity now that one of her big allies is out (but undoubtedly will end up back in. Great twist…not :rolleyes:). Stunning that living in a house with someone for that long that you could forget that she’s there. Verrrrry interesting about Kalia’s sweetheart edit.

Anyhoo, I’m glad a newbie won this week. Might make things a little different.
I just hope that the twist comes after next week’s eviction. I would love to watch Rachel leave while Brendan goes back into the game. There’s just something juicy and evil about that happening.
For my tastes, the only interesting things left to happen this season all involve misfortune and disappointment for Rachel (and by extension Brendon). I just hope that we don’t have to endure Brendon coming back. I want to see Cassi again, and don’t care a whit for the other three.

Well, Dick proves once again that he really is a dick.
He didn’t win BB because he had some brilliant strategy. He won simply though a combination of brute force and good luck. Simply put, he and Danielle were just really good at winning HOH and veto challenges. Try as they might the HGs just could not get them out of the house. Dick also did a good job of intimidating the hell out of those who might have been sitting on the fence in regards to him and Danielle
Dick also benefited his season from America’s Vote, where they had one player (Eric that season) in the house who voted based on viewer polls. On one or two occasions, the HGs were all set to kick him out, but that one vote from America’s Player, Eric, was just enough to save him. And you could also make a good case that America’s Player was also responsible for him winning. As I recall, him and Danielle ended up in the top two, and the other players were all ready to give Danielle the top prize simply out of spite for Dick. But then Eric chimed in (again playing based on what the viewers wanted) and talked about what a great player he had been and that they should vote on that, and his argument swayed enough votes to give Dick the win.
As I understand it, the person evicted this week will face-off against America’s choice. If America’s choice is Brendon, and Rachel is evicted, they will compete against each other in some sort of challenge. Will Brendon become a martyr for Rachel again?
As much as I want to some eye candy back in the show, eg Cassi, I would like to see Dominic come back in the show as #1. It will make Rachel explode to think that Brendon was not America’s choice and #2. It will make Rachel explode to know that Dani’s ally is back in the game. #3. Hi Opal and #4. It will make Rachel explode to know that the guy she got evicted is back in the game.
I would guess that Rachel and Porsche will be the nominees as Kalia will do exactly what Dani wants.

What else is going on off-camera? Are J&J doing it? Who has bad hygiene this season (you may have mentioned Porsche earlier, IIRC or not.) I still think she’s hot…
I think it was Cassi who was skimping showers (probably because she was a have-not and didn’t want to take cold ones).
