Yeah, it was Cassi. She was on have-not for two weeks running and I get that cold showers suck, but she rivaled BB11 Natalie in terms of sheer grossness. The other houseguests started yelling at her for going in the hot tub without showering because she was just too gross.
J&J are not doing it in the house, not even remotely close. They do still cuddle and giggle and get goofy when it’s just the two of them, but no booger. Interestingly, they don’t live together or even in the same state; they usually see each other once a month or so. It was Jordan’s idea to say yes this season pretty much solely so she and Jeff could spend the summer together, which she referenced in her speech on Thursday. Their primary goal was to make it to jury so that could happen.
Cassi and Jordan became pretty close in Cassi’s last week; I could easily see Cassi teaming up with Shelly and Jordan if she comes back, which I very much want to see both for eye candy and because of how the house is shaking out:
The house is now firmly divided, with Dani leading Kalia, Lawon and Porshe against J&J, Adam and Shelly. Rachel is the immediate target for Dani’s side, with Jeff secondary, but the J&J side don’t want Rachel either. Dani and Kalia are obviously the primary targets on the other side.
Dani is doing a masterful job badmouthing Jordan to Kalia, who is eating it up by the spoonful. These two have somehow come around to the fantasy that Jordan is a mean, spiteful person. ?! I’m pretty sure Dani doesn’t actually believe that, but she has convinced Kalia of it.
This week it’s going to be Rachel and Jeff on the block, but the replacement nominee is problematic if one of them comes down because Kalia still technically has a deal with Jordan. When it comes down to it, though, I expect Dani will have poisoned her mind enough to put Jordan up as replacement because Jordan is so mean. ?!
Rachel is just…insane. She was talking about just coming off two weeks on slop and now having another one, and I yelled at the TV “You were on slop for two weeks BY YOUR OWN DAMN HAND!”
Jeff and Jordan lost points for me tonight, too. Jordan especially. Jeff I already knew was a bully, but Jordan’s bellyaching was disappointing.
Rachel two weeks on slop? BullS***. She was HOH two weeks ago, and she didn’t pick a snowball in the skiing HOH competition. those are the last two weeks. And did I miss her and Adam in the Have/Have not competition?
She was, because she took the option to go on slop for two weeks (by her own decision) during the veto comp the week Dominic won the veto. As HoH, she was still on slop, but was allowed to eat what was in her HoH basket, too.
It was funny, on BBAD after the food comp (or maybe the next night) J&J were in the have-not room, and Jordan was talking smack. Pretty close to verbatim: “If I win HoH and she tries tries to come talk to me, I’m gonna tell her ‘Get the …“f” out.’” Jeff looked at her and said “Wow, you’re mean in here. I’ve never seen you like this before. I kinda…like it.” Then they both started giggling. Too funny, she is indeed ornery going into her second week of slop but even still she just can’t swear.
As a big J&J fan, I didn’t think they came off particularly well on Sunday’s show, and I think it was fair. No shady editing; they were quite salty in the house.
A couple weeks back EW ran an interview with Grodner where said she thought Dani would win and she was rooting for her, so now I see game-fixing everywhere. For example: You aren’t allowed to tell someone you’re going to nominate them. Brendan did that last season with Britney, and the DR made him change his noms. (They also wanted Matt up to play the DPoV.) This season, Dani’s strongest ally just told Jeff to his face he was going up and nothing happens. They even aired it on broadcast!
Jordan, I get it. She’s tired and wrecked and to my knowledge never had a big tantrum. Jeff, on the other hand, came off like a dick (and he’s had his blow ups already). Seriously…bullying isn’t likely to keep you off the block (it could but still unlikely). He didn’t even try to make nice. Poorly played. Yeah, tons of folks who aren’t playing hard who “should” go before J and J, but I don’t see any of them advancing Kalia’s game.
Also, how fast did Rachel go from rivers of tears to thoughtful gameplay when they came in to tell her about Porsche?
Anyone else sick of the crying? My goodness, they could solve the drought in SoCal with all the water works tonight. I hope Rachel leaves, but I will not miss Lawon either.
and Please America, do not vote for Brendon. Cassi preferable, Dominic 2nd choice. I still like Dominic because it will make Rachel mad.
I think the telling DR tonight was Kalia’s “Now everybody likes me!” It pretty much nails her gameplay. She wants to make big moves…at least until she upsets someone with them. You can’t be a major player in this game and have everyone like you. Jordan was a fluke. If she hadn’t had Jeff to run interference for her and get blood on HIS hands for her through most of her season, she’d have been on the jury instead of winning the money. People who play for “everybody likes me” end up on the outside looking in, usually.
Yes, it’s a social game. You have to get those votes. But you really can’t do that unless you play the other parts of it, and that means that you’re going to be responsible for getting people out of the house. Will won and there were maybe TWO people in his original season who actually liked him.
Dammit. Lawon’s going to be evicted, you know America is going to vote to bring Brendon back because that’ll create the most drama, and he’ll easily win a competition against Lawon. That means Rachel & Brendon will be together again. I really can’t stand watching that skank and her douchebag fiancee any more.
Oh, and Rachel’s comment at the end tonight, “No more tears from me!” Yeah, until the next time you lose at something. Then you’ll be sobbing and whining again like usual.
Disagree entirely on the specifics, though agree with her win being fluky. Jeff was a nonfactor in Jordan’s game on BB11. Note that Jordan went on the block multiple times early on, was openly Jeff’s closest ally and Jeff was the primary target of everyone else in the house and Jordan still didn’t get voted out. If anything, Jeff put a bigger target on her back than she otherwise would have had.
What won it for Jordan was how despicable Natalie was. Jordan had no chance against Kevin in the final 2, and she wisely figured that out to seal her win over Natalie.
While nobody wants to vote Jordan out during the game, nobody wants to give her the money either, so it comes down to Jordan gets a free pass to the final week, and then either gets voted out at the end, wins 50k (ala Lane from last year) or she’s up against a truly vile player (Natalie, Rachel) and so wins the money by default.
It kept Jordan off the block as a replacement nominee, keeping their alliance intact despite all odds. Poorly played is the opposite of how I’d characterize his meeting with Kalia.
It’s official - I now hate everyone this season. Every last one of them. All of them are annoying, all of them are making stupid moves, and 90% of them are sobbing. Ugh.
Disagree. Kalia’s point (which he refused to listen to) was that he wasn’t the target (which the audience knew to be true but he didn’t) and neither was Jordan. Instead of listening and trying to play nice, he went crazy. I don’t think his intention was to really keep Jordan off the block, it was to originally keep him off the block. He was pissed and blew up. Not well played even if he was lucky enough to get everything to work out for him in the end.
Seriously. When Lawon was up in the HoH volunteering to go home (which was apparently a very small clip of a very long and completely incomprehensible discussion on Lawon’s part), I was tempted to shout “English, motherfucker! Do. You. Speak it?!”
Would you be willing to go ahead and pay the half-million to Sam Jackson just to have him in the house for a couple weeks to clean up the whining? Slap the mook out of some of those people.
