I was in Brazil last month-and i noticed a very strange TV show, which (apparently)
is very popular down there. It consists of a luxury house (with an inground swimming pool), inhabited by 3-4 GORGEOUS chicks, and 3-4 young men. The house is equipped with TV cameras, and you get to see them 24/7 (you don’t get to see them changing clothes :smack: ). Anyway, the idea is that they all play head games with eachother, and every so on, somebody gets voted out. the windder/last one in, gets a big cash prize. Now, i’m a big skeptic of these 'reality" shows-in a real situation, these kids would be at eachother’s throats in 2-3 days. yet, the show is extremely poular! I tuned in because the girts were-super hot! But aside from this aspect, who cares about watching people all day long?
Will such a show make it in the USA? Or would censorship prevent this sort of thing?
Where have YOU been? We’ve had 8 seasons of Big Brother here in the US already.
Isn’t that the one where the protagonist feared that rats would attack him from the tubes?
It was started by the evil Dutch but dozens of countries have versions all over the world. I have never watched more than 30 seconds at a time but I can see the appeal. Especially to the network. It must be very cheap to make compared to a written show.
Way to go. You’ve just enlightened the last person on the planet who didn’t know about BB. He would have made an interesting anthropological case-study.
