The truth or falsity of any given fact is entirely independent of the personal virtues or failings of the person reporting the observations. A claim is verified by testing it, by attempting to reproduce the results, and not by examining the personality of the proponent.

If the court’s duty or in this case, lets include the jury here, fail to do their due diligence by ignoring the scientific element of the Meier’s proof material then no amount of science will help in determining who is telling the truth or who is lying because their minds are already made up.
You go on about science but to the detriment of one important process namely that you need people behind the science to deal with it otherwise absence of a human being there exists no conclusions towards the truth because nobody is there to witness it.
