Well, to stop a war, first you must stop the fighting. OH NO a fascist chaotic moron is stopping fighting worldwide! What an awful thing to do! The ‘Conflict Resolution Experts’ (Chosen for their exceptional cases of TDS) think trump is insane and unable to three logical words together, but is doing what they could not do for generations. The fact is that the national and international pandemic of TDS and TOTAL lack of objectivity has made your arguments sick jokes. If the Democrats had not ruined their credibility with their desperation to keep Trump of office (think Russia, Russia, Russia and Lawfare) and to silence anyone who dared oppose the ‘hive mind’, I might be inclined to consider what you have to say. But what I know is there are fewer wars, with less dead bodies all over the world. That’s a good thing, but the Democrats treat it like he has committed crimes against humanity. If at some point the corporate media could find one or two good things Trump did and report positively about them them and him, I might be tempted to consider your arguments, knowing that if he did do something good they would say so. But no, we get unmodulated TDS, and you expect that THIS time, they will know we really mean it. At least Fox News calls him out on his shit sometimes. The corporate media and academia continue to pour out undiluted H eight against the democratically elected President of the United States of America. So what is an impartial viewer to conclude? Wars stopped and fewer dead bodies, or the blathering of formerly credible commentators spewing the same Shiite that we have all gotten accustomed to. No matter who the deranged fascist is, I’ll take the fascist who stops wars and helps people live and thrive than the fascists who support war and killing. Clearly someone is lying and I don’t believe it is Trump this time. The key to getting me back into the progressive fold is to tell the truth about SOMETHING good that Trump has done so that I can know you’re not given over completely to TDS. People are dying and the Progressives don’t care.
Less fighting, less bloodshed, less death, is always better. Full stop.
Trump claimed in the SotU was literally, “In my first 10 months, I ended eight wars.” Not de-escalated tensions that had not become full-blown wars, not got the parties to the table to talk, but ended eight wars. The link I shared above shows that, yes, he and his government did make a difference in some of these, but that not all of them were wars, and in many cases – especially Ukraine and Gaza – he only got them to partial truces or no truce at all.
What I have a problem with is Trump’s exaggeration about what he actually did, to make it sound even better, and to make himself sound even more amazing.
That’s it.

Clearly you are not aware of the attacks on girls’ schools by the Islamic regime. Poison gas was distributed into the schools and then the schools would be shut down ( New Stanford Report on School Poisonings in Iran | Iranian Studies ). It is certainly unfortunate that a school was destroyed. It is not impossible that the school had military applications (that’s a war crime: Using civilians as a human shield). There is also a possibility that the Iranians destroyed the school themselves to generate the headlines you cite. Clearly the mullahs will do ANYTHING to stay in power, including destroying Iran if they are deposed. I think the mullahs reserve the right to kill tens of thousands of its citizens.
And now, in response to Israel and the U.S. attacking Iran, Hezbollah has launched missiles into Israel from Lebanon, leading to Israel launching rockets into Lebanon.
Can we strike one off of Trump’s claim of ending eight wars now?
