I am 17 and 19 years younger than my siblings (I was a 20th anniversary ‘surprise’). So technically I am the youngest, which is how I answered the poll, but for all intents and purposes I was an only child.
Ahem. As someone who is 14 years younger than her oldest sibling, I feel I must inform you that the correct term is “bonus baby.”
I’m the 3rd of 4, but I was also the youngest for almost 8 years before younger sibling came along. So I have some definite middle child traits, but also some things that would be more typical of the baby in the family.
