When I was four, I was held down and subjected to a lumbar puncture for no good reason by a bunch of trainees. My mother was also lied to about not being allowed in the room. When they were done (during which they told me that I wouldn’t see my mum if if I didn’t stop crying), I had four holes in my back.
Was I mistreated? Yes. Was I raped? No.
