I’m pretty sure they both are
In Trumansburg, NY - near Ithaca - there’s an establishment known as The Rongovian Embassy.
The last time I was in Perth, I happened to pass a pub called The Wet Shag. It was a bit disappointing that they only served beer.
The Ego Bar in Meguro.
Whenever we’re going up to the Poconos, we always pass by Bud’s Pub & Grub.
I’m convinced that it’s impossible to say the name of the place without sounding like Larry The Cable Guy.
And a fantastic beer selection.
Also, there is a Lucky 13 near my place, one of the best bars in SF, also with a great beer selection.
How about the gay bars in Chicago? The Man Hole and Cocktail? There were some others too I think. Was one The Ram?
There’s a pub just north of Manchester called the “Same Yet”.
Apparently it used to have a more orthodox name, but sometime in the Victorian era the proprietor had the sign repainted. The sign painter asked how he wanted the sign done, and the landlord, in a hurry, said “Paint it the same yet”. The signwriter took this too literally!
There was a bar in the next town called “The Office”. There was also one in that same town called “Dirty Nelly’s”. There was (is?) a bar in Buckhead (Atlanta) called, simply, Bar.
In NYC on Third Ave and around 35th street is a sports bar called ‘Third and Long’.
There’s always Poncho’s Happy Bottom Riding Club, but it isn’t there anymore.
Palatine has a Durty Nellie’s (as Clar mentioned,) an Office, and it USED to have a Judge’s Decision (not sure if that is still around or not.)
Growing up, there was the Dew Drop Inn and the Garglehaus (complete with umlaut).
Having lived near boystown for a while, let’s see how many gay bar names I can remember (great names!)

In the small town of Bliss, Idaho, just off the interstate, there’s a place called “Don’t Ask Bar”. I figure it’s for people who, when someone wants to know where his buddy is headed he says, “don’t ask.”
An awful dive bar in South River, NJ. And yet, one of my favorites - My Dad’s Place.
I’m not sure this is a bizarre name, but I just want to mention The Cooler, the diviest of dives in my home town. It was a former meat cooler. It was a squat, almost-windowless cinder block building. They handed out enormous glasses of whiskey for, like, a dollar. Their decoration scheme, such as it was, consisted of the accoutrements of the former establishment. Primarily, this meant giant meat hooks hanging from the ceiling. The crowd in the place skewed a little to the rough side. But, you couldn’t beat it for cheap booze. Too bad they tore it down a few years back.
I’ve always liked the name “The Quaff” here in KC.
In Olathe, KS there is “The Job Site”
In northern Ohio, along route 2 I think, there was “The Half Fast Inn” (half-assed inn)
I almost forgot about this one, but was reminded when I walked past it last night (Friday night). In the Patpong red-light district is a gay bar called Screw Boy.
Dallas has a gay bar named JRs and a lesbian bar called Sue Ellens.
I thought of another one after pulling out my T-shirt from the place. In Siem Reap, Cambodia, is the Angkor What? Bar. (Siem Reap is the town close to the Angkor Wat ruins.)
Siem Reap also has a guesthouse-restaurant-bar complex called the Dead Fish Tower Inn. Their website AND a sign on premises proudly proclaims: “We don’t serve dog, cat, rat, or worm!”
