Bless the Hearts. How did this get broadcast?

Is that supposed to be funny? It showed up after a football game. At 8:45 ish p.m.

Huh?

Pretty pathetic.

Got a link? How did what get broadcasted?

I assume the OP is referring to Bless the Harts, an animated show that Fox is broadcasting on Sunday nights (along with The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Bob’s Burgers).

Review. Perhaps my sense of humor is broken. I didn’t find anything on SNL this weekend even remotely close to amusing.

Ostensibly it’s not that bad, and objectively it’s not as bad as a lot of Fox ventures. Critically, it’s somewhat well received. I’m a former fan of The Simpsons (best tv show in history season 3-10) and I think currently Bob’s Burgers is one of the best shows on TV bar-none, so I’ve caught a fair amount of Bless the Harts.

Regardless of the charm of existing in the same universe as King of the Hill, I don’t like the show.

…But what I don’t like can fill a warehouse, so just because I don’t like it doesn’t mean it’s bad. There are some talented and funny people involved, so here’s to hoping (if renewed) it will improve with time. Most shows improve after season one.

Ah, I was wondering what Maya Rudolph was up to these days.

Whatever happened to Bless This Mess? Did it die ignominiously?

It’s alright.

Jesus off the wall are my favorite scenes. (Still haven’t figured out if really Jesus or if Jenny is just crazy.)

Different show (different thread). Similarly but less well reviewed; seems to be lost in the lurch if cancelled or renewed. TBD.

Kumail Nanjiani is one of the most genuinely funny people out there right now.

His improved character on Harmonquest really won me over. He ad libbed all the valuable aspects and it was hilarious.
