Del Mar, California, has Little Orphan Alley.
In San Jose, there is a Sajak Avenue, right around the corner from Vanna Court.

There’s an Infinite Loop in Cupertino, CA – where the Apple, Inc. office is.

Where is Infinite Loop? At the corner of Infinite Loop and Infinite Loop?
OK, it’s not official, but it’s fun:

I live a few blocks from the intersection of Seaman & Cumming.
I’d be surprised if it appears on Google streetview at all - it’s one of those cobbled streets not accessible by car, like quite a few in that area. That’s for Gropecunt Lane and Cock Alley - I can’t remember where I saw Pissing Alley.
Never mind. I can only say ‘yes, I saw this with my own eyes in real life, when accompanied by a load of teenage EFL students who definitely did know the meaning of Cock.’ It’s not something I can transfer to the internet as a cite, so as far as you know, I could be making it up - and there’s not a lot I can do to prove otherwise.
My college has houses on the former ‘Gropecunt Lane’ in Oxford (I lived in one for a while).
Now the street is the much more boring ‘Magpie Lane’ though.
What I meant was that the particular one Wikipedia highlights has completely disappeared, the alley in question simply not existing anymore. Did you really, genuinely see ‘Gropecunt Lane’ on a proper street sign? A lot of historians will be interested, on top of the Wikipedia editors. (I stand by ‘Cock Anything’ being a red herring, mind!)
In Lancaster County. IIRC. It is supposedly a factual statement that the road from Blue Ball to Paradise goes through Intercourse.
It’s an actual crossroads community, pre-dating the larger Wendell and Zebulon nearby. It was named after a salt lick that attracted lizards among other things. It had its 15 minutes of fame when whatever game-maker does the Mario stuff introduced Yoshi, a lizard that racks up points by catching things with its tongue, and had the world premiere of its new game there. In point of fact, the Southeast headquarters for Georgia Pacific is located there.
Yes, definitely. It’s in the Soho area-ish (maybe further South?), and it’d be a bit odd for historians to have missed it. It wouldn’t be as surprising that it hadn’t been added to Wikipedia. Next time I’m there, I’ll take photos.
There are tons of Cock Roads (and so on), though, so I’m not sure why you’re so certain that’s a red herring.
The high point of my year was when this January when I turned off at the Zebulon exit of (2?)64 to gas up and found myself in Lizard Lick. I’ve been looking for that place for years.
Off of I5 in Northern California there are two exits on right after the other.
Balls Ferry
Hooker Creek Road
There used to be a regular road sign near the MSP airport that read:
E 62th St.
I always meant to take a picture of it, but never did, and now that street is gone and there’s a runway there.
Darn.
In downtown Halifax, NS, there is a Trollope St.
Based on the spelling, I’m guessing it wasn’t named for having been a “red light” district.
In Narre Warren, Victoria, Australia there is “Ernst Wanke” Road.
For the reason I gave, that there were once far more cockpits than red light districts.
Redding CA,
I deliver mail to Lois Lane, one of the other routes has Easy Street. (Nice place, but I expected better…) and I pass the intersection of Xanadu and Hootenanny. I’ve always how the neighbors get along there???
It’s about a block away from Billy Goat Strut Alley near the Butchertown neighborhood. We also have Third Street Road and Seventh Street Road (they eventually lead to Third and Seventh Streets, ok?), Old New Cut Road, and an intersection where Old New Cut Road meets Penile Road. At that same intersection is one of three versions of Manslick Road, none of which are connected or in the same part of the city. We also have an intersection where Happiness Way and Delightful Way meet.
And don’t get me started on how Louisvillians give directions.
