oops! yes i did.
They’ll say “Aww Topsy”
At my autopsy
But no one will be
More shocked than me
One thing I think is kind of odd, though, is the fact that the kids all go to the same school. I could see Gene and Tina at the same school, if it was a 5th through 8th grade middle school, or Louise and Gene at a K through 6th elementary school. I’m assuming, of course, based on their ages, that they’re in 3rd, 5th, and 7th grade.
In Chicago, the city elementary schools are kindergarten through 8th grade, unless it has changed since I went, and I don’t think it has.
IMO, Topsy is the best episode of the series, which is saying something because quite a few episodes are excellent.
the ones I seen was the game show one where they get very lucky on a family feud type of show until the host who hates them passionately and cheats so they lose and ends up trying ot kill them
And another one I seen was they were having navy fleet week and I think they were letting the kids run the place or getting health dept problems and it was a disaster …
but people like it because its not political or overly moralistic like simpsons south part or family guy and not everyones stupid mean or an asshole … or all 3 together …
I made a comment about Linda reading too many parenting books, and the saw I made that remark too early. A few episodes later, somebody makes a remark about parenting books, and Linda is all, “That’s a thing? I should write one!”
After watching the episode where Tina goes to Tammy’s bat mitzvah, I’m in love with the voice actress who does Tammy. There was this one bit where she does this little shriek, and I was all, “OMG, that’s a 13YO girl allright!” It was perfect.

There’s been rumors of a soundtrack being released for a couple years now. Latest news is that it supposed to come out this December.
I’m not afraid of ghosts
I’m not afraid of sharks
I’m not afraid of cancer
I’m just afraid of snakes
They really creep me out
Where are their arms and legs?
It’s not okay!
Working my way through these now, and enjoying them quite a bit, agreeing with many of the things being said here. But one thing that’s bugging the hell out of me is the re-use of voice talent when the actors are not really true chameleon-like voice actors, but just people with distinctive voices. Since I’m often listening to the episodes while working on something else, it’s distracting and confusing to hear one of the regulars do a slight variation-on-a-theme for a minor character. Hire a Maurice LaMarche or a Don LaFontaine-type if you want someone filling in all the background characters as needed.
Still a very refreshing show, though.

Binge watching for about a week and up to the middle of season 4. Just finished watching Equestranauts-- one of the best episodes yet. It would be the very best but it does not include 'the chant:
Men are from Mars
Women are from Venus!
I’ve got a yum you,
You’ve got a penis!
Seriously, Linda has to be the best songwriter:
This is down here but it should be up there
This is kind of loose and I think it might tear
This is lumpy
This is saggy
When I bend down I pee a little bit
But it’s not bad, not bad for having three kids! --Or three cats!
Really. Why hasn’t t his won a Grammy yet?
They said at Comic-Con earlier this year that there’s one in the works.
Probably because the soundtrack hasn’t been released yet…
However, I don’t think any of the songs have been nominated for Emmys, either.
At least this year, the Christmas episode won’t air before Thanksgiving - it will air the Sunday just after Thanksgiving, when you’re probably driving home from wherever you went on Thanksgiving. (The following two weeks are pre-emptions for NFL doubleheaders, and Fox thinks that 12/18 is too close to Christmas to air new episodes of anything.)
Bumping this back up because the Soundtrack is finally out. 112 tracks. Some are just little clips, but there’s some full songs too.
“They say Thomas Edison
He’s the man to get us in-
to this century”
Sweet. It took me a while to fully appreciate this show, but it was the music that caught me first.
You take that back!
