BOO! It's A Hallowe'en MMP

Howdy Y’all! Home from (actually been home about half an hour) marathon deheathenization, plus brunch, plus meet with the Bishop. Now I am in my comfies and 'tis chill time! 'Twas a good day however.

{{{WetOne}}} rest up and feel better soonest.

Anyways I went ice skating, and fell. On my left had. Somewhat painful and swollen today.:frowning: But the Viqueens and Bears just lost.

Feel better! And keep at the quitting, you’ll do it.

The Vikings lost, the Steelers won. There are tear-stains on my Tarkenton jersey. It hasn’t been the best of Sunday afternoons for me.

But dinner is pot=roast and taters so I’ll probably survive.

Back from dropping my car off at the shop - with luck, they’ll get to it first thing in the AM. Meanwhile, I’ve added the last of the veggies to the pot roast, and we should be able to eat in half an hour or so. It’s smelling YUM!!!

Till then, I shall assume the recline position.

Supper was good. Kitchen is tidied. Daughter and SIL are going to fetch their spawn from his mom’s house. I’m about to resume the recline position. Punkin pie later. YUM!

I watched a Wagon Trail episode. Clint quits the wagon train, goes to work for a saloon and casino. Fights an Indian Chief over two guys who killed Indian game. Indian agrees to supply town with game. Clint rejoins the train as does the casino guy and his girl friend. Many episodes end with people joining the train in the middle of the wilderness. Where the hell do they get the wagon? Does Major Adams have half a dozen extras on hand just in case? Are there used prairie schooner salesmen out in the desert as used car salesmen work off the freeway now? “Sure, it has 4,000 miles on it, but those are prairie miles! Owned by a little old lady who was scalped, very sad.”

Feel better soon wet one!

I got the usual Sunday chores done today, went for my eye exam and am now waiting for supper (Napa chicken, rice and green beans) to finish cooking. I’s hongree!

Didja just quit? It should get better.
Cool shirt, Prof
Home, was 60° in the house when I woke up yesterday morn & down to 58° when I got home this evening; no more. Heater is now on for the season. :frowning:

What a strange day. The time change was welcomed…

Buddy Boy is a dud. He is 7 months old and I am wishing he were older. I just don’t know if he is normal. Into everything. Always scanning for something to get into. The barking is getting better but his rambunctiousness is off the charts. Energy level through the roof. He won’t just lay down on the bed when we are watching TV but put him in his compound and he lays right down. I try to keep him out when I am home since he is cooped up all week. Once he did lay down on the bed I accidentally touched him and he acted like he was gonna bite me. Not that I am scared of him but manners. Please y’all tell me this is just puppyhood and it will get better.

I already want to be home from irk tomorrow. Happy New Week I guess.

butters, Buddy sounds like a little weirdo. :stuck_out_tongue: My guess is that he gets his energy from the weenie dog side. The dachshunds that Nelson plays with are little balls of energy too. Perhaps you should put him in training for the weenie dog races. 25 Exciting Wiener Dog Races | USA - Dachshund Station
