Well! Here’s to you, MsRobyn’s son!
A year already? Wow.
Have a great time!
Okay. It’s a week and a half till Aaron’s birthday, and two and a half weeks till the party.
So far, we’ve got some of the Philly Dopers, me, Airman, Zappo, and of course, Aaron. Anyone else interested in cookout, birthday cake, and ice cream?
Robin
Hey, do we have a time on this? I don’t think we ever got one.
It’s sorta set for 3 p.m.
The cake has been ordered. It’s a chocolate cake with white buttercream frosting. The design is Marvin the Martian.
Robin
Cool. We should be there around 2, in case there’s anything we can help with.
By the way, any gift ideas you can pass along to us?
No specific ideas, although Aaron’s now in 18 month old clothes. Also, toys that make repetitive noises or involve 15 bazillion pieces will put the giver on Mommy’s Short List of People Who Will Burn In Hell[sup]TM[/sup].
Robin
nods Understood. If I know Rich, he’ll probably be all for picking up some books for him. No noises, learning possibilities… all for the better.
Clothes, though… that may be what I’ll head for.
Repetitive noises…
15 bazillion pieces…
HELL!?!?!?!?!?
maybe i’ll just go for an making TP help me out for the sake of my immortal soul.
Aaron has two stuffed toys that play short songs when you press some part of them. Aaron loves them. They drive me insane. Need I say more?
As for the 15 bazillion pieces, there are toys that are rendered useless of one of those pieces disappears. It’s just easier to keep toys to one or two pieces.
Robin
Robin, is it too late for me to sign up to attend? I missed this thread when it started and some people have recently asked me if I was going. Someone will have to send me some info as I have no idea where this is.
I’ll bring a gift, promise. Maybe something like a 5,000 piece puzzle. I know how much kids love to chew on puzzle pieces.
Oh, no, it’s not too late at all.
Email Zappo for directions. We’ll be glad to see you.
You should all spend the night at Zappo’s, and then drive down here with him the next day to help us move.
I have to work, but Robin may be able to. We’ll see.
Yeah, don’t you come! I don’t want you stinking up my house like poo and wee and sick.
Wouldn’t want to ruin you for Sunday, now would I?
I am afraid the Bluesclan will have to send our regrets for this one :(. But tell Aaron that we hope he has a wonderful birthday.
No problem. We’ll catch you next time. Whenever that will be.
Happy belated birthday, Aaron!
(The commuting back and forth between Baltimore and Jersey has been a little insane, and tdc and I never know where we’re going to be in a given weekend. Sorry we missed out!)
's all good, moi. A good time was had by all, and we’ll catch you later.
Robin
