Woohoo! I finally won a tourney, to the tune of $25.20. Not bad for only six bucks.

Man have I been running BAD lately. Bad beats (like runner runner Jacks to beat my Kings), Bad luck (getting a pair of Queens when someone else happens to get AA) and more often than not bad play (too many times to describe).

With 10 players, you don’t have to post blinds as often as you do with 2 tables of 6 or 7. Not sure if that made that much difference or if it was just the back and forth action all night.
Now my AIM is screwed up, at least it was for the last bit of last weeks game. Hope it’s working tonite.

I played a $10 private tourney Tuesday night with 22 players. Twice within three hands I went all in preflop and my opponent flopped the nut straight. Both times I sucked out on the river with a full house. It was fitting, I suppose, that I was knocked out just out of the money by a player who flopped the nut straight.
Game’s already up. Allen must have learned his place.
I’m already on tilt. A couple of days ago, I was playing .01/.02 NL at Stars. I get KK and push the betting. Flop is rainbow garbage, so I bet heavy. An aggressive player goes all-in for about $12. I call with my remaining $2. Turn and river are 42o, giving the pusher a wheel for his A3o crap hand.
It really is very little consolation that “I got all my money in with the best hand”.
Now where is that smiley for being on tilt?
