I got the steam version of the game for free with my new Nvidia video card. I’ve been playing a good amount the last few days, and it is actually a pretty decent game. I’ve gotten up to the rescue Roland quest in the edge, and figured I would try out multiplayer…
I’ve never used Steam multiplayer before. I just joined the SDMB steam group (Under Hirka T’Bawa), don’t know if that makes a difference to anyone… But, if anyone wants to play, I’ll be willing to play with. Friend me.

The only Hirka I see doesn’t have Borderlands 2 and isn’t in the SDMB group…?
Well, I don’t know what to say… I doubt there are many "Hirka:'s around 
As I said, I just started playing around with Steam’s community options, I might have set some setting incorrectly or something. Is there something I should make sure I did correctly? I did join a group listed as “Straight Dope Message Board SDMB”, it has 215 members… Is there another SDMB group?
Tried co-op tonight with two friends. We could get two of us in a game, but never three of us. Then when one of us quit the other two could not connect. From what I see this is not an isolated problem.
Anyway, the single player game itself is great. Lots of guns, lots of explosions, lots of loot. I’m playing on a PC with an NVidia graphics card so I guess I get some extra detail. I posted a screenshot of the debris on my Steam page (name on Steam is the same as here).
Also a video of my Gunzerker getting enough Critical shots in a row to make him yell.
So yeah, what everyone expected.
But what I didn’t expect goes in the next post…
