Finished this season. It was pretty good. I agree that the actor who plays Irving can be really hard to understand. The season as a whole was okay. Not great, but entertaining enough which is all a show like this really promises. So, mission accomplished.
Lance Reddick has always talked like a mumbling Howard Cosell, but I think that’s real. That stilted staccato mannerism is his natural voice, so it’s difficult to criticise him for it.
Just finished reading my first Bosch book, “Dark Sacred Night” and thoroughly enjoyed it. I got it at Costco when I seen how long the line-up was going to be for the cashier and it caught my eye. This along with Ian Rankin’s books are the first for me in this genre so I got a lot of catching up to do. I recall seeing the commercial for Bosch so I’ll have to give it a watch. Some great reviews I noticed.
