Boston Public's Scott Goober (Guber?) - What music does he listen to?

I have no clue what he’s listening to, but I like it. Can anyone help me out? Which composers, etc.? Thanks…

I haven’t seen Boston Public the last couple of seasons, but before that he was listening to a lot of Dvorak’s symphony #9 (aka “From the New World” or “New World Symphony”), especially the last movement.

This show is still on?

It was quietly discontinued in the middle of last season. I really liked it for the first two years, but without Lauren and Harry, it really lost its way.

I think we’re still in season 1 here… they started showing it just under a year ago.
I love the show. And I like the music.

Nope. Apparantly they exhausted the formula:
[ul][li]Student is discovered engaging in shockingly inappropriate behaviour[/li][li]Principal is stunned[/li][li]One teacher defends the behaviour, because he or she did the same thing way-back-when[/li][li]Principal remains stunned, driving further wedge between him and his daughter[/li][li]Gruber discovers the shocking behaviour is described and/or encouraged on (gasp!) a student web site! He demands the site be shut down, mentioning that “the parents” feel the same way[/li][li]Teacher/Defender shows blatant disrespect for Gruber[/li][li]Gruber wants Teacher/Defender fired or suspended[/li][li]Principal overrules Gruber (including a few wearied moans of “Scott!”) and sighs about how tough his job is[/li][li]The student who created the website either leaves it up or voluntarily takes it down, depending apparantly on how many sidewalk cracks David E. Kelley counted the morning of the script conference for this episode[/li][li]Life goes on[/ul][/li]
After repeating the cycle twenty or thirty times, the well ran dry.

Don’t forget:

[ul]
[li]Lady shouts “Smell that shoe!”[/li][/ul]

That is the funniest thing I’ve read all week. I’ve only seen a few of the episodes of this show, but that just about covers them all.
